Simple Machines

Over the past week and a half the students read stories about simple machines.  Also, they watched short videos on this same topic.  Then we went to the makerspace and the students built as many of the 6 simple machines that they could in the time allotted.   They used saws, hammers, hot glue, drills, etc. to build their simple machines.   After creating their simple machines they shared them with the first graders in Ms. Marzouki's class. They did an awesome job on this project.
